I think you did a nice job but the only thing that bothers me is number 3, his left (our right) cheekbone seems to disappear with the blown out background. His eyes seem to tell a story in #1 which is strange because he's just a youngster.

I'm new here...so correct me if I do this wrong...but if it says "my photos are ok to edit" does that mean that they don't mind if you play around with it in PS and then repost it? If I'm wrong, then please let me know and I'll take it off.

Anyways...I absolutely LOVE the first one, but your BW conversion is a bit muddy. I hope you don't mind, but I played with it a bit and just bumped the curves a bit. I think it helps to really focus on his eyes! =)
