Marina in Virginia - Hyperfocal Distance

This was taken with a D3100 and kit 18-55 lens. I'm trying to get better at achieving hyperfocal distance focusing. Not thinking I really nailed it here. The boat in front and center was not my focal point, but sure came out sharp. How can I get everything else between it and the bridge in better focus. Any critique is appreciated.

Not sure what your complaining about. This looks pretty good.
I'm assuming you used a small aperture.
Also possible that focus stacking may help but I just think it looks OK as is.
Nice shot by the way...

Not sure what you are complaining about either. Looks great to me and all in focus on the screen in front of me but may not be of course when blown up on a large screen.

Ok, thanks guys. Maybe I was overthinking it. It does look good to me, I'm just used to seeing landscape shots from others that seem to have an incredible amount of focus / detail in them.
