Very, very good shots, all of them!
The one you ask about is a Junco.
 
4) could someone please remind me of this bird I have not looked it up, this was in the swamp, not my backyard

I'm looking at my Birds of the Carolins Field Guide, but it might be a first winter male Yellow Rumped Warbler, measuring 5-6" head to tail.

Nice shots all around. Thanks for sharing.
 
i think he got it right himself, Pretty sure that's a female Junco.
