'Tis wedding season...here is one we shot in May, and I'm working on another that we just did and gearing up for two in August. Just wanted to share a few from the ceremony.

Right before the walk down the aisle:

Some great emotional captures here! Nice group, Alison, I bet they're happy customers! :)

#1 is my favourite of the bunch, even though I think it would have had more impact if you moved a bit to the right. You should consider sending that to contests like WPJA, 'Top Knots' etc.

I also like 4 and 5.

Thanks guys! Daniel, I agree it would have had more impact if I could have got her father's face more. I've never sumbitted anything to a contest, it's worth a try! The moment happened just as I was switching lenses, the bride was completely put together ready to go and then just burst into tears. Her father was saying "You don't have to do this if you don't want to" but she was just crying from excitement and the energy of the day.

As a girlie girl, I totally understand that.

wow very nice series :) and I like the one with the ring and HIS hands :)
only one comment if I can... can I??? the one where they are exchanging rings... the focus is set (I think so) on the priest not on the couple... and I heard many critiques whne I did something simmilar ... The couple may have rather see them in focus. But... it is hardly visible so I am sure that if they are not interested in photography they won't notice that :)

Thanks for all the comments! Mentos, I applied a soft focus filter on this one when I converted to black and white, though perhaps it wasn't effective if the priest looks more in focus! That is just one of many they have to choose from, but I'll have to take a look at the original file to see if indeed he was more in focus. I have my fair share of those back focused images as well but I usually weed them all out first :D
