Mayan Riviera Vacation

i will be going to mayan riviera january 19th and am wondering what things i would need to take with me. or what lenses more specifically i should have.

currently i have a canon rebel t2i with the standard 18-55mm is lense.

i am a complete beginner and am very clueless when it comes to what i need.

Unless you are going for the sole purpose of photography, I wouldn't stress out too much on bringing a bunch of lenses and filters. If it were me, I would throw my S95 in my pack and call it done.
