I've debated whether or not posting this, not sure it's worthy enough for the TPF crowd . Took this earlier this summer, really my first attempt at capturing the Milky Way. Was just outside my hometown along the river. Little horizon glow from the next town downstream.
Panasonic G6, 12-35 f2.8. 12mm, 20 sec exposure at 3200 ISO.
Don't look to closely at me, I'm a touch blurry - hard to balance on a rock, in the dark, for 20 seconds.
