5 exposures. Tone mapped in photomatix, edited in photoshop and reduced noise in topaz denoise.

Composition, lighting whatever. Anything you'd do differently is welcomed! :)

Yes, those rocks looks a little painterly.
But apart from (apparently) poor tone mapping, what is to like and not to like? :)

That graph is freakishly accurate :O

What the fruit baskets happened to the rocks?

They must have suffered the painful ordeal that is details enhancer :)

I tonemapped again with the exposure fusion (or whatever it's called) thing. Then I took the rocks from the new edit and placed over the rocks in the first edit. I thought the sky looked the best in the first edit. Anyway, Here's the fusion edit (+ some photoshopping) along with the third edit. Is this better? Rock problem solved?

2nd edit

Noob opinion here, but I think that third edit looks fantastic.

Thank you!

Composition looks okay. I like the purple-ish cloud coloration. The only thing I would suggest would be to throw a couple of steaks on those hot coals, and also some pieces of marinated chicken, and let 'em BBQ for a while!

And point taken about the rocks  :D

+1 for the third edit. Looks a lot better now.
