The indirect subject of my rant the other day... I snapped a few while we were out walking and thought maybe (seeing how you all listened to my rant and offered to help him...) I might should introduce him to you!
Not the greatest portrait... He wanted to ball serious like my son and it doesn't work for him. He's more of a giggly fellow!

He's destroyed his glasses. We got them for him in the end of August. You should see how tilted and bent they are... UGH. They're in the shop on a regular basis.

i think the background is distracting (although nice) in the second one. is there anything you could have done to open it up a little? more bokeh? seperate him from it a little more?

It's a good point and so right. To me the background even looks fake.
It was just a walkabout when I took the kids out on the trails, so I don't really care much about the portrait. Just the colors, contrast and saturation to be sure I am doing ok on this computer for now.

HOPING mine will be back tomorrow sometime, but I think that's wishful thinking!

Well then the tilt stays lol I wear glasses so I hear you there. Hey at least it looks the way you see it lol. Colors look good to me but I am on my phone so take that with a grain of salt.
