meeting internet friends

I voted for yes, and i would do it again

I have meet many people from many different Forums, and hoping to meet up with a couple of the Photo Forum members this Sunday

Yep - one time, and I felt I was kind of taking a chance, since it was a guy I'd befriended. But it turned out fine, my instincts to trust him were well-founded. We met during the day, he was a perfect gentleman (he knew I was married of course), just had beer and pizza and hit some used record stores and had a great time yakking.



Sure, I'd do it again if I had that same trust level. I'd been talking with this guy for many months, along with a pool of other people in this group, and it happened we only lived a couple hours apart, so we just met on a lark.

I've met a ton of people online, most are great, some were ok, and 1 or 2 were psycotic, but its been a blast, most of my friends i met online, and i wouldn't give it up for the world....

I met my current girlfrend online as well as my previous LOL.

Yup, I took a vacation to Australia (from U.S.) with 2 people I had only met in person one time (but knew for quite some time online). We flew to Aussieland and stayed with someone we had only met online. Then for the second part of the trip we met up with manda for the 1st time in person, shared a room with her. That was the best vacation ever! It was quite adventurous, the weather was awesome and I met some groovy people! My family knew all the details and didn't think I was wacky. I don't even think they worried about me!

Manda, that would be so cool for you to visit next year! And since Mindy isn't that far from me, we'll have a group gathering!!

Despite the fact that I've met lots of people from online, I have not met dates that way. I just can't do it!
