I love this, but my eye keeps going to that blow out piece of sky. Is there any chance of getting any detail out of the original?

I like this too. I agree with Rick on the blown patch of sky, but it doesn't bother me all that much.
I would straighten the photo along the horizontal created by the bright white on the far edge of the pond.

A larger image would be helpful as well.

That blown patch is where the sun was. Not sure what I could have done there unless I had a n.d. filter on at the time. You can see the reflection of it in the water.
I straighted the original. Surprised I missed that!
