    My first zoom shots. Doubly inspired by JonMikal and Triggerhappy. I took around 130 zoom shots last night, and I'm officially addicted!

    Nice shots! Hey BTW thank you, you finally made it click in my head too! I now understand it and have tried a couple on my tree as well. I'm going to play with this a bit more for sure :wink:

    are u zooming during the exposure? just wondering what methods u guys use for these focus pulls

    Yeah, just set it for a long exposure (1-3 seconds or so) and zoom. You have to have a sturdy tripod for the light trails to be perfectly straight. It's fun stuff...just do it in moderation :D

    It's fun techniques like this that can be easily recreated by a beginner with the press of a button in a photo program. Which is fine, but not really...
