Messing around at the beach on a very rainy day - CC very very welcome

Just sharing some pictures from my last (very) impromptu shoot at the beach with a friend on NYE. We both caught colds after this, but it was lots of fun. I'd love to hear what you guys think. (these images are low-res versions). Thanks!

I see some potential here, but I think inattention to detail has let you down somewhat, for instance overly centered composition, angled horizons, and excessive fly-away away hair. As well, I think a bit of fill light would have helped greatly.

I agree with John on these but I like #3 (where she is on her knees).

I like them. I think #4 is slightly awkward, perhaps in a little closer and offset or else out a little. I really like #3 but think it would benefit from having more space around the subject.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I agree with you a lot of those points there.. I am currently working with awkward lenses (fixed 50mm) and a few of those are tightly cropped in post.. but thank you for reminding me that I must always be mindful with my composition
