Just some initial test shots with my new toy, Sony A55. Comment if you will.. it's the only way I'm gonna learn

Are these straight out the camera or have you edited them at all?

C&C as per request.

#1 I like the composition on it kind of blurred the main subject on the upper left there, kind of OOF, cool photo nontheless.

#2 Looks kind of simple to me, nothing really stands out beside the composition again I like the pattern and it looks fairly centred.

#3 Also looks pretty plain I love how the sun rays add to the empty space on the upper left. The rays complete the photo.

#4 Kind of plain nothing really stands out here for me.

I really like the composition of #2. It's really over-powering the way your framed the building. Nice work!

#1. I think if this was sharper, it would be great.
#2. I don't care for this one, it is out of focus and an odd angle.
#3. I do like this one. It is plain, but something about it, I do like. Maybe a little PP and it would be a very nice shot.
#4. Kind of just looks like a random snapshot, very dark, and no particular focus.
