Meteors, Airplanes, or Satellites?

Playing around with the time lapse feature last night, taken at 14mm on a Nikon D800e, 1 hour time lapse, 6 second exposures.

Hard to tell in the video but, I would guess it's a satellite.

I just got my 14-24 2.8 in the mail Tuesday. I can't wait to get out and do some astrophotography.

Do you have any sort of filters for your lens? I've been looking at the Lee sw150 but, I'm disappointed that there is no Big stopper for the system.

I have the Lee system, it works really great, though it is bulky and a bit annoying. I actually have a big stopper for it, not a Lee, but a hi tech. The problem is light leakage, I used some black foam as a DIY fix and it worked ok but I pretty much only use grad NDs with it since that cumbersome enough in itself, trying to deal with light leakage really slows you down. If I want to do some 10stop ND stuff I use my 20 or 24 and my 77mm filter. Enjoy the lens, it really is fun......endless creative possibilities.
