Mid Day Shoot

Had a lot of fun with this short shoot yesterday afternoon. I was suppose to be working on my final for tuesday but yeah. Procrastination took over haha. I also have some 35mm Portra 160 being processed right now from this shoot as well. Super excited to get that back

I was scared to open this thinking I'd see harsh shadows and blown out faces.

these are lovely.
what did you use to beat the sun?

shade from the cedar tree then spot metered for the face. I wanted to shoot just film but being an impatient person I did digital as well.

These were shot with a Nikon FM2 on Kodak Portra 160. Again I placed her in the shade, spot metered her face, then over exposed one stop.
