Hi again Bjorkfiend, is your father diabetic by any chance?

Sorry but the cloudy eye thing has gotten me curious. I've done a bit of searching on the web (inconclusive) and would like to suggest again that you take him for an eye exam.

It may well be nothing but a father should be able to see his children and not just hear them and your vision is the easiest part of your health to let slide.

The reflection you see is an umbrella, not a ceiling light. I don't really know how that can be avoided without affecting the lighting.

Angles, it is all about the angles. Remember, you do not have just side to side or close or far... but up and down too!

Another factor... if your camera is indeed focusing on the eyes, and these are the results, your lens is backfocusing a good amount.

Hey Jerry... could explain the backfocusing a bit? I Google'd it and found an explanation that the camera focuses a bit behind the intended subject. Is there a fix for this or something you just have to learn to work around?
