MiniTT1 + FlexTT5 - Canon speedlights

MiniTT1 + FlexTT5 - Canon speedlights 580 EX II, 5D Markii


I would like to try to shoot into the sun on "AV or M" mode lets say wide open F2.8 using the HighSpeed Sync (HSS) feature, do I need to change any settings within the Canon Markii menu and or any where else in combination with the MiniTT1 + FlexTT5 to shoot above shutter speeds of 200?

I am fairly certain you have to plug both the MiniTT1 and the Flex in the your computer through USB and configure the Hypersync through the PocketWizard program that you need to download and install (PocketWizard® - PocketWizard Firmware and the Utility Download). This will allow you to update your firmware, change channels and such... Should have a good idea from there. PocketWizard has some very useful information on their website regarding the configuration of your triggers. By the way, I love my MiniTT1 and Plus II's.

I do too,

The Mini TT1 and my 2 Flexes TT5 preform very well in and outdoors.
The only thing is info about settings brand specific is missing (for me it is)

What is the brand specific information you need?
