hey guys! recently got a bunch of Minolta lenses with a Minolta SRT101. but I have an extra Canon AE1 body which I kinda wanna use with these MC/MD lenses because I've seen people done it. anyone knows where I can get an adapter for me to use these lenses on FD mount? cheers x

Where did you see it done ? The big problem with Minolta is, that flange distance of Minolta lenses is much shorter, than with any other SLR. It would be maybe possible to mount Minolta lens on other cameras, but they would be sitting to deep inside the body and mirror, when swinging up would hit it. Not a good idea. Maybe only Canon Pellix wouldn't do that, as Pellix mirror doesn't swing.

Maybe what you saw were people using Minolta MC/MD lenses on Canon EOS cameras? There are adapters for that but I don't think there are any MC/MD adapters that will work with Canon FD bodies such as the AE-1.

Not likely. If you want an updated Minolta body, look for an X700--dirt cheap and plentiful.

I grew up with the SRT-101. I would just use that camera with those lenses.

Ive seen people 3d print some but thats it man
