Minolta Z2 or Canon Powershot A80?

I've been thinking about buying a new digital cam in the near future...after some research, I'm a little lost....I haven't heard that much about the Z2 yet, but about the Z1 ...some very positive feedback...the Z2 is the follow-up camera....
Which one would you recommend?
