Took this a few minutes ago with a Vivitar 20/3.8 from our balcony.

Nice captures Ron.
All the birds are sticking around the feeders this morning, even the grumpy Blue Jays aren't chasing anyone off. Seems like a good day to stick close to the house, shoot a few of the birds then warm up by the fire while I review them...rinse repeat lol

Stay warm!

Same weather here today! Supposed to get up to around -12C though so I might have to head out and look for ducks and ice!
Beautiful sun dog! Good capture!

Same weather here. Just got done doing stalls at the farm I keep my horse at. All I gotta say is thank god for carhartt gear!! Nice ol 0 lol

PS..... Love these shots. Especially the 2nd!

We had barely any winter this year! Florida usually has really nice winters, but it's been pretty warm and muggy this season. We had our real first cold day today. And by cold I mean 48 degrees.

But love the shots, I'm a sucker for landscapes.

48 degrees? Come the end of winter that's tee shirt weather right there.

Lol I know, but you know what's funny? When it does get down to the 50s and 40s people from the northeast say it actually feels colder then they're used to because we have such high humidity the cold is much denser then other places.

And no one has a working heater lol.

Nice images, Ron, thanks for sharing. Our weather is supposed to go in the deep freeze this week - 20-25°C with wind chills adding another 5 to 10 degrees of perceived "coldness". They are also saying we are going to get some snow - believe it when I see it. Our winter here on the southern Prairies has been relatively mild and snow free - some places south of us got to +9° C today, but that's over for a while - about -20°C by tonight.:(

Cheers,

WesternGuy
