Mirror self portrait in nature

I am working on developing a website for my new photography business and wanted to take a self portrait of myself with my camera to put on the homepage. This was my idea, but I'm not as happy with it as I thought I was going to be, especially with the green shirt against the green background. I want to go take some more photos this week, so it would helpful to hear what I could do differently to improve them.

I think this is a pretty cool idea!
Are you using flashes?

The balance of light in the picture, in my opinion, should be better on the mirror side: if your reflecting figure was a little bit less exposed, it would merge better with the rest of the background.

I was using one flash pointing towards me. Now, when you say "on the mirror side" you mean you think I should have pointed the flash towards the mirror? Or what?
Also, looking back, I wish I would have jelled the flash warmer to equal the light of the sunset.

I like #2 better, but I think #1 is more successful simply because of the exposure outside the mirror.
