This beautiful mission is in the desert south of Tucson. It sits on lands of the Tohono O'odham Nation and is over 300 years old. It is undergoing some extensive renovations but is still a great subject to shoot. The sun was high and bright on this day so it made things a little difficult. The interior is equally as impressive and I hope to go back soon to try and capture some of that detail.

Wow! That is an unbelievable subject and great shot.

Is it infrared? I can't quite tell.

Oh this grand... Looks like the gates of heaven.

Thank you for looking and commenting. No it is not IR...just a B&W conversion. I just had it printed 16 x 24 and framed in a black, plain frame with light gray mat. My wife is hanging it and a few other Tucson shots in her new office at work. The print of this one turned out very nice. I will be going back and exploring this site more deeply. Hopefully I will get some decent shots of the interior. It is completely loaded with beautiful paintings and wood carvings throughout.
