San Xavier del Bac, Tucson, Arizona

This mission is currently undergoing restoration work. Given the tedious nature of restoring all of the intricate artwork throughout the interior, I'm guessing this will take many years to complete. At first, I thought the tower on the right was under restoration...but that's the original design. Good thing I didn't repair it in Photoshop!

Thank you for looking...

You got some really nice images here. I first visited this place in the eighties with a 4x5. Have been back several times. But your work looks top notch!

I love Missions! Beautiful work done on a beautiful venue.

That is a beautiful building inside & out - you got some great shots. I hope they're able to preserve the rustic feel to it in the restoration.

I like #8, great 3D look!

Thanks Mike...the artists are certainly taking their time (years) to restore the artwork throughout the interior of the church. It looks to me like their objective is to restore it into the condition it was in prior to the damage.

Thank you, Frank
