Jeez they all are beautiful!!

You have the ability to see whats around you in "newness" obviously, without letting familiarity create a "block"...or it certainly seems so on these shots particularly if they are the area in which you live.

I have shot here (where I live) to the point where I feel blocked by the familiar surroundings...and realize that its my own "block" rather than caused by where I am.

This week I am going to visit friends in Canada and am looking forward to the difference in surroundings to try to remove some of the shooters block that I seem to have now.

Beautiful beautiful shots!!

No. 3, where the trees meet, the branches have formed an upside down heart - I like that detail. My favourite is probably the last one - I like the way the image draws you into that misty horizon and the shadowy trees in the background. A nice set of photos

Thanks folks.

I was thinking nobody cared for the shots as the post was about to slip to page 2 without a comment. The pics were all taken in our front yard except for the last one which is from the road out front into the property across the road. As I was taking these I was thinking of someone here who claims to live in a boring place without anything of interest to shoot. I once posted in one of his threads that he has eyes but cannot see.

That's a long haul from Alabama to visit friends Expat - enjoy your trip.

Personally I love the 4th and 6th shots. Love the green. Am a big fan of the fog/mist type shots.

No, I guess these aren't the typical Ron Evers photos we're used to. These seem to be a lacking a certain vibe the others had. Perhaps you've been feeling a little un-inspired? Have you taken a photo of the Flatiron building yet? Or is it still standing?

Anyways, looking forward to seeing more from you sir.

The Flatiron building is still standing in Toronto but that is a place you drag me kicking & screaming. I hate the big smoke AKA Hogtown.

My fav is the last one, number 5... Amazing background and trees formation!
