All taken around Vancouver.
Canon 350D. Top 3 images with 55-200mm Sigma and Bottom 3 with 10-20mm Sigma.
Processing Mix: Straightened converging lines, Curves, Sharpening, Cropping.
4 and 5 look over sharpened from resizing for some reason.

I'm not good at ID'ing birds. The woodpeckers look like Gilded Fickers from the markings, though the head is slightly different and in the wrong habitat... So I don't know.

Was hoping for a little help with ID'ing the Woodpecker.

Oh, can't help you ID it, sorry for that, all I was going to say is that I would call it my luckiest day if ever I should get such a close view on a woodpecker at all! What a lovely photo (3)!!!

Those that call angling their hobby might not be too fond of the sight of cormorants, but I like them!

And any time I see wide angle photography I tell myself that this is an area I need to learn to explore a lot more! Too good NOT to be explored!
