Crop seems tight to me, her skin could use a little post work, there is a hair or something on her shoulder that bugs me, it looks like she has hair on her upper lip. Generally not a flattering image in my opinion but I'm new to this so take it for what it's worth.

Maybe you are right. I am always prone to committing misjudgments. Probably due to the excitement I feel in showing my wares. Well, thanks anyway..

Some post work would go a long way to improve the image. Remove the hair on her shoulder and lip and maybe touch up her skin a little. Did you crop the image or is that straight off the camera?

Straight off the camera and autoedited it in Photoshop Elements. Do you mind if you edit it? Feel free.

Son & I were @ that show & folks kept staring @ the lens on my camera & some asked what it was. Soviet, Jupiter-8.

Only shows how open Canadian society is, Ron. If it were the other way around and the CPC were in power and you happen to carry a Canon, you should have been tortured. Long live the RCMP!!

I agree with the other opinions here and would add that the conversion needs a bit of work. It's very grey and needs a bit more contrast to give it a 'pop'.

I could remove the hair on her shoulder easily enough but I'm not a portrait guy so I have zero experience with skin smoothing, your attempts would be at least as good as mine.
