N. 1 is superb. Beautiful. Masterpiece. Light is perfect, DOF is perfect, focus is ok, composition is stunning.

I don't like n. 2: make him look rubber-made or something.

I agree, he's got a great look for a model. I love his bone structure, freckles, and long neck. Apparently modeling runs in his family; his mom was really well known in her day, and all of his older siblings are models as well.

Number 2 is good on its own but up against the first I does kind of pale in comparison.

But he can actually model is the thing. If I learned anything from America's Next Top Model it's that looking like a model is pointless if you can't actually model, which this guy can. Haha.

But he can actually model is the thing. If I learned anything from America's Next Top Model it's that looking like a model is pointless if you can't actually model, which this guy can. Haha.

I have to give him a lot of direction, but he started less than a year ago and just recently turned 18. I think he's learning and progressing quickly though.

Only when people say that a model in one of my photos is doing "blue steel" when they clearly aren't. That's gross.

I love the first one ... going to totally steal this pose.

The second one, while it may be somewhat "mannequin-esque" ... is nonetheless interesting, it's tough (for me) to look away.

If you can re-create this look on demand ... I could guess that there'd be a market for it.

To me, it makes me think of classic Star Trek. Whether it's marketable or not though I'm not worried about; first and foremost photography is my artistic expression.
