I'm just starting out with my new DSLR and would like to build a portfolio. Where does everyone find models who are willing to pose for someone new behind the camera? Thanks.

For ModelMayhem, it's easier for you to get models if you already have a decent portfolio. So, I'd start out with that hot neighbor that you've been looking at.

Yeah it's very chicken and egg. Take the best photos you possibly can with the most attractive person you can find. Put them on MM. Start contacting models. Build portfolio slightly. The real magic happens when you get to start working with hair, makeup, and wardrobe. Makes all the difference in the world.

Well i cant get a profile on MM until i have some model pics to submit, but i need access to the site to contact models. No hot neighbors in my hood. Any other suggestions?
