Seeing a lot more fawns on the property, now that the summer season is coming to a close. Although this fawn is still nursing, momma's milk sac appears full.

I envy you. I have seen very few fawns this year for some reason. Last year was just the opposite and I saw probably more than any other year of my life.

I envy you. I have seen very few fawns this year for some reason. Last year was just the opposite and I saw probably more than any other year of my life.

It does seem unusual how it changes from year to year. We really haven't seen that many more fawns this year either, just the same few over and over. We live on the outskirts of a very rural POA (property owner's association) and hunting is not allowed so the association is sort of a sanctuary for the wildlife. I have to admit though, I'm fortunate for the photo opportunities.
