I edited it in Lightroom, I boosted the clarity to 50% then used the clarity adjustment brush on the cocoon at 100%. I boosted the blacks and contrast. Next I used an orange color adjustment brush on the parts that are orange That's what I remember anyway!

The final stages. Three new photos. These are just the jpegs and I have done nothing in post except crop and sharpen. And the background is a light blue, so I don't think the WB is off on these.
