moniter calibration

i have calibrated and calibrated and calibrated and changed settings in LR2 my printer Elements and pretty much everything else i could my prints are still coming out dark. please help.

are you using a huey? if so, they are known to have problems.

You must also turn on soft proofing with a printer profile within LR2.

And make the sure the color profile (not printing profile) is being used once the monitor calibration program creats it.

You've got to do a printer calibration as well if you want it to come out really perfect. Otherwise just know that you need to knock the brightness up a bit when you print.

Maybe send some prints out to a lab. If they come back looking like your monitor, then you know it's your printer that is the problem.
