Monochrome test shots Fence.

These were test shots I made today during lunch.
I converted one to monochrome.

They are not for big display, just testing some things.

Please give feedback.

IMO the conversion works better. Not really a fan of the top wire skewing up like it does, might be different if I could see the image in it's entirety without scrolling.

Yeah..needing to scroll down to see the whole of the image really hurts.. the display size is just too tall for me. I too think that the B&W conversion is somewhat better than the color original.

I like the idea of it... it's so light that I think it needs to be adjusted or the exposure did when taking the photo. That white chunk of concrete or whatever to the lower left is the only thing that bugs me because it seems to be sticking into that corner of the picture more than really being in the composition. Maybe it's a little too much blue sky space, but still I kind of like that wire going off into nowhere land.

Oh, I realized you were going for monochrome. But really, monochrome is one color and B&W is the absence of color... so maybe you wanted gray. But it's still just so light it doesn't do much for me this way, especially with that much sky, it makes it seem hazy whether it was or not.
