Moon shooting?

I did some moon shooting last night using a 300mm lens. I took the best pictures with a shutter speed of 1/250, aperture at F/11, and ISO 800. don't take the cameras metering advice as definitive. play around with the settings and see what happens.

a very good spot metering will help though.

but you can also estimate as suggested and do a bit of trial and error...
