Moorhen!

Black tailed Godwit (with a muddy beak)

Coot!

and finally a Red Shank as an extra treat!


Taken a few years back at RSPB Minsmere with Canon 7D and Sigmar 120-300mm + 2*TC.

And yep coots have very striking eyes and beaks (though they are part of the rail family rather than a true duck )
