Hi, I'm Richard and will like to share some of the butterflies I've captured recently. The Common lascar is one of the 3 lookalikes found here in Singapore. Although the name 'common' it is the least common of the 3. This shot is taken in a forested nature reserve at 1/200, f13 with ISO 200. The camera is the Canon 300D with 75-300mm IS plus 25mm extension tube. Sigma 500 Super DG flash has a Stefon omnibounce attached and fired.
The next butterfly is the Ambon onyx. This small butterfly belongs to the hairstreak family. Shot at 1/160, f5 ISO 200 using the above mentioned equipments.
