Here's a couple to show that this isn't as easy as it might seem...

First, a backlit railroad bridge.

And then the cable bridge, heavily modified to save something moderately useful.

Both of these were grossly underexposed. The second one was taken earlier, so it's lighter, but you can see the color noise in the background. The first one is just freaking dark.

Good job. I like the second one, the bridge in the first one distracts me.

Thanks Gero, I like the second one better as well. Doesn't look half bad this size. Sorta falls apart at full res though. [shrug]

Note to self: Don't underexpose the pics dummy!

Excellent shots - especially the second one. The blue in the sky almost looks unreal (which is strange to say ) I dig the contrast between it and the bridge.
