More State Capitol Shoreline at Sunset

I went back to the park for another sunset. This one was much more colorful than the last!

1. D800, 24-70 f/2.8 @ f/6.3, 32mm, 1/320 sec, ISO 100


2. D800, 70-200 f/2.8 @ f6.3, 105mm 10 shot pano, 1/800 sec, ISO 100


3. D800, 200-500 f/5.6 @ f.22, 500mm, 1/8000 sec, ISO 100
Ok, the capitol isn't visible here, but it was the same sunset anyway...

Beautiful pictures. Don't you just hate those stupid contrails! The first one is my favourite of the three. On the last one, I think I would have been tempted to remove those poles and maybe even the building, sticking up above the horizon, but then that is just me being fussy again.

They are very annoying indeed! I have another landscape that has one stupid contrail through it...

I agree that removing the building in #3 would clean it up. The power poles, though, are a well known feature here, and to me, give it some context as to where the image is from.
