More water drop refraction trial and error

I think I got the drops to form better on this attempt but not happy with the lack of detail or the positioning. I took a lot of photos with different backgrounds and subjects and this is the only one I’m even close to happy with. This is so much harder than I thought it would be! It will be a good project to work on over the winter. I hope I don’t bore you all with my learning curve. Any advice or pointing me toward good tutorials that you’ve used would be most welcome.

but, I’m wondering what it would look like centered? The symmetry in me really really wants it centered.

I wanted it centered but because the middle drop wasn’t 100% centered on the center of the flower it’s off just enough to be annoying to me so I cropped it to be off center.

I like it but if you can focus closer it might bring out more detail in the droplets. What lens are you using?

Interesting challenge. I like what you've done. I think the pink background to the left adds to the image.
