Morning Pier

hello to all. I shot this with my Canon T4i w/ EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens @ 20mm f/22, 1/10, ISO 100. Please provide feedback. I find that it is a bit dark on the left but no matter what I did with the white balance or anything I couldn't lighten that area up...it may have not been possible but I am a noob which is why I am looking for feedback. Thanks in advance.

I used f22 because I want to get as much detail throughout the pier as I could ...at least that was my goal. Thanks!!!

i knew it! I leveled it but for some reason when I posted it looked unlevel. Yes, always RAW.

Now it's level, and I threw a couple adjustments on it in an attempt to tame the sun and make the pier it's self pop a little more.

There it is! OP, Your latest edit nailed it. That looks really peaceful and majestic to me. The saturation is pushed, but I think that works here.

I completely agree with Parker. The latest edit is VERY peaceful, which I imagine is something you were going for.

I bet you could have pulled this off with f/11, and the overall result would have been sharper.

Not to slag on you, because it is a great photo, which is what really matters.

I use iPhoto and overlays a grid which allows me to level it out. It was user error... :/

Blow it up and print it! I agree last edit is #1
