Morning Rose

Took this shot this morning on my kitchen table with a $1 rose I got from the grocery store.. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

I like the contrast btw the flower colour ant he checkered BG. also like the way the stem trails off into the distance.

Card material!
The colour springs out of the photo, what with the idea background, and like JonK, I like the chosen position of the rose and DOF, too! The texture of the petals is almost palpable!
