Most photographed peak in the US - C&C

I've never heard of it, but as soon as I clicked on this thread I recognized it. :)

I think I like the second better. The rays are certainly unique on the first, but there's something about them that doesnt appeal to me personally. I do like the hdr though. In the second, the colors are some of my favorites. I would have loved to see an evil sky behind the cliffs, but clearly that's not your fault or something you can change. I like it anyway.

I don't like #1. My eyes follow the light rays right out of the frame.

wow love both of them

number 2 looks pretty good. processing kills number 1 for me. seriously, hdr lens flare?

I'm not trying to complain or anything but why are so many ridiculously nice and well done photos in the "beginner" forum?

I'm really asking why, I'm not trying to attack anyone.

Why are people bitching about things?

Just love or hate the photo, take what you can, and move on.

Id say its because this is where most people tend to congregate. If you dont like looking at nice pictures why are you into photography?

I always figured it was because this is where people started out posting and never bothered to move once they got better. :)

Did you miss the month-long campaign that stated that posting photos in the general gallery was the equivalent of, "posting photos in the basement? Behind the furnace!" ??? Apparently you missed those posts...

It seems like the General Gallery does not receive much traffic, but the beginner's gallery does...

I'm flattered you think I don't belong here.

Honestly, I thought it was a pointless shot until I checked out the HDR and decided it was not that bad.

Wow! There's a general gallery? I had no idea!

But yeah I guess I'll continue posting here.

Thank you, I don't mean to ruin this thread or take anything away from the great picture I was actually curious.. Some people take actual offense for asking like big man Jason who obviously doesn't know what I mean when I say "I'm not complaining (bitching). At least I'm glad that you can always get an answer on this forum regardless of the question.

sans the question, This picture is fantastic dhaval especially since I have a keen obsession with this specific type of landscapes. I was surprised when it said HDR since I'm used to seeing HDR doing drastic manipulations to a photo. Well done! And by the looks of this picture I can confidently say that you probably don't belong in the beginners but for sake of bringing a great shot to people's attention I understand your gestures!

Beautiful shot! Wish I can go there xD

Yown, first off, no offense was taken by your question. The question just did not need to be asked here. The OP posted a photo for review not for you to ask why he posted the photo here.

Second, you have asked the same question in more that one thread. You may not be bitching but you sure are being annoying. I may be the only one that is thinking this but since the thread was already hijacked I might as well say it.

Thank you for taking over, or at least trying to take over, two threads today. Next time why don't you leave other members threads alone and post your non photography related question in the appropriate area Off Topic Chat.
