Nice lighting, and I love the mood and the color toning. I don't really like the gray blanket; to me it's bulky and creates an awkward composition, and seems out of place in such a natural scene. I would also take some time to remove the blemishes on mom's face. Since her makeup only slightly covers the blemishes up, it makes her look sort of like she has a dirty face, which takes away from the photograph.
