The pink/purple stands out SO well among the blurry bg and the leaves.. I really like this photo but I want to see a bit more light on it, I don't know why I just think it will make the flower pop a bit more. Sorry for the non-technical critique.

Thank for the feedback. I just had the built in flash and did no pp on it. I did receive my first additional flash later this afternoon so I might have to play with that and do a redo. Thanks for the mother's day wished. My husband is in the military and has been gone for 4 months training so it was really special to receive something.

I spend a lot of time trying to keep busy. Taking care of my 3yr old, and working hard on my photography! I want to have my own business. It's something that can move around with me wherever the military takes us. Plus, I LOVE it!!
