All the dead space on the left is not working out...it's not contributing anything...I'd say this needed to be re-framed and re-composed as a vertical image, or framed as a square aspect ratio image.
@ Darrell, I agree!! I fixed it for ya.. Much better, thanks for the constructive criticism. it helped!
@ BitterJ - It does, either that or red suede.. Kinda neat-o
@ Morto - Thanks buddy, crop - DONE!
I did do a couple variations of the HDR and one Natural one. I know it's the HDR section, but i figured I'd give ya the natural one on here as well, rather than making a new thread for it.
This one has a painted effect added to it. Couldn't decided which I liked better, this one, or the one above:
All Natural, with sharpening and color adjustments
For some reason I dig the uncropped original more. The texture of the bokeh from the table gives it a nice surrounding space.
BTW- I did a flower shot for my mother as well, and it was actually inspired by your chrysanthium bokeh in the easter egg shot. It was taken in the Biltmore gardens.
Thanks man! I'm flattered you'd even think about my shots outside of looking at my pictures on the forum. Your feedback is much appreciated! Thanks again
