Several families were taking advantage of the warm weather yesterday by spending the day at a local park. A couple of them tried flying some kites, not with much success. One kite was pretty lackluster, but this one was fairly nice looking. What surprises me the most is that when I just showed this to my wife, she thought this shot was "perfect" just as it was - no post-processing required. Considering the whole "your family will always tell you you're good" thing, though, I'd appreciate some independent opinions on the shot.

Subject is in focus, and not obstructed by the tree limbs (which easily could have happened), color is beautiful, simple. Tree limbs add a nice depth to the picture without the aforementioned obstruction. Perfect is a strong word, but not from a wife, but it is a very nice image. And I love Godzilla, Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mothra

Interesting shot, the out of focus foreground adds depth to the image, well done.
