I already gave the answer of Wings,back on page one. I saw a newly-restored version of the picture around 2013 and it was quite good.

Speaking of Yentyl with Barbra Streisand, which was a cute little movie, I would like to offer one with Warren Beatty I believe, Ishtar, which was widely regarded as a real turkey of a movie.

Let us try and follow the basic Simple Rules, the most basic of which is to wait until someone has posted an answer instead of rapid-fire posting one or two or three titles without having waited for someone else to have a chance to play.

Puzzles me why this is the only Don Winslow crime fiction work to make it to the big screen. His "Cartel Trilogy" is perfect reading for our current situation of mandatory leisure. Immersive, highly addictive stuff if your taste runs toward a stretch version of Elmore Leonard's best. FX Networks reportedly got the rights last year to The Power of the Dog, The Cartel and The Border. Ridley Scott hoped to direct in 2015 but his project apparently fizzled. Sometimes it's best to go beyond the adapted screenplay to the novel. Apologies for the diversion but can't we all use an extra helping of that now?
