Moving iPhone photo's from phone to external hard drive via windows computer

Is it possible to move my iPhone photo's to my external hard drive via my windows computer? My computer says it doesn't support the iPhone photo's file.

Best advice- upload to an image site like Imgur or Flickr ( both free) and and then save to hard drive on your PC - simple enough

Yes easy if you have IOS14 or +

You can connect to any PC, I connect to a portable solid state hard drive to back up my pics from my iPhone when traveling.
