pretty amazing stuff.

looking at his photos, i know alot of his photos looks come from the lighting but what would he do with color correction?

they dont have a digital look - are they shot on film?
wondering if anyone could give me some insight

Digital look? They are digital images you viewed on your computer monitor. Whether they were digital in the first place or scanned from film to digital, they are digital now. Digitized film images look just like digital direct images.

Photography means "light writing" so it is all about the light. Whether you control the lighting or simply encounter it, it is the lighting that makes or breaks every image every time.

I'm not sure what you want to know about color correction but, with film, it is accomplished with filters sometimes, with patience sometimes and with luck sometimes. With digital images it is accomplished in any number of ways in post production. If you are asking what this photographer did to one or more of his images either during or after exposure, I can't say. Perhaps you can email him and ask him about an image that interests you.

One of the problems with trying to figure out post production is that there are so many ways to do the same thing in Photoshop and other editing programs. Do a search on converting to B&W to see what I mean.

Those images of his look great, though. I especially like that first one.
