Nice color, WB seems to "fit" each photo, and with the exception of number 2 - focus seems pretty good too. Some framing issues through out the set, but solid if I understand that you've only been shooting for three months (!!).

Serious, I guess they could be far worse, but they aren't compelling images.

The main issue I have is they are cropped way to close to the face. Focus and lighting are good,

Granted these aren't perfect, but they are, IMO, pretty decent and for someone with three months experience, I would say VERY good. There are definitely some areas for improvement, particularily with respect to the choice of backgrounds (and maybe dialling back the skin-smoothing a little), but there's no doubt that the OP is off to a good start!

You were going good until you threw in #4 & 5. lol, just joking. Honestly, a good set. #8 is my favorite (even though some may say that it's cropped too tight.).

But thank you all for the constructive criticism, I really do appreciate it, it helps out.

And yeah I hate skin smoothing, but the one girl with the overly plastic skin asked to have plastic skin lol :crazy:

I'm not being snarky, this is something you should really think about: why put something in your portfolio that doesn't show who YOU really are as an artist? If you aren't into it and don't like doing it, don't sell yourself as though you do.

I think your images look great! #5 is my favorite!

Framing could use a little work. I like the framing in 5 and 8 but some of the others are a bit tight. I like 1 in some ways. She looks good but the back doesnt really jive with her look.

I agree with dialing back on the skin smoothing, give the girl the plastic face but don't put it in your portfolio?... Good shots though my Fav's are #2 #4 and #8 (with not so plastic skin)
