This is an Oystercatcher flying into land- very common in my area I love to photograph these lovely birds

Not what I expected to see to be honest. Nicely caught tho.
 
Don't have many LRP in there parts. There was a breeding pair on some wasteland in an industrial site about 10 miles away. The gypsies moved in there with their dogs and stuff and well, that was that.

The Little Ringed Plover is seen at given times down here
and is always a treat! Good one you posted. :encouragement:
Im lucky enough to live within the Somerset Levels and see these daily in Summer- not so much in winter
